Welcome Welcome Welcome -first post-

Well your about to embark on my journey to clean probably the most disgusting grill I have ever seen in my life.
Basically we bought a restaurant and the previous chef left me an oven and a grill and some other equipment.
Needless to say if  I ever worked with this chef or his staff they would of been fired  for running a kitchen like this.
After much thought and a small pitch to the owner my boss I think I convinced him to throw out our 6 burner range and attached oven. It is a vulcan(which are expensive) but you should never cook in this thing It is literally a health hazard. So we should be buying a new oven and range. Woot. I'll show you pictures when we get it.....Update!!!!!! the owner eighty sixed our new oven so I must clean the impossible.

The Grill

So after viewing all kinds of articles about degreasers, cleaners, power washers, sandblasters, grinders, and enviormental contamination I am ready to begin. Almost. First off its still January and freezing out so I am going to wait about two weeks to see if some of the snow will dissappear and warm weather will come through allowing me to do some long hours of cleaning outside. In the mean time I will post a picture and start aquiring the neccessary gear for taking on a job of this magnitude.

Omg, wow, wtf, would be words to describe this...

The Clean

Chuck(the owner) and I assemble a 4 man crew consisting of us two and Joe and Mike two jack of all trade type carpenter guys. Feeling confident with a coffee in hands at our sheer ambition we are ready to begin
The Ultimate Scrub!

And so it begins....(lotr quote<---)

Beer Break

Beer Break working with chemicals, powerwashers, sanders, steelwool, and scrub brushes deserves a break.
Alex comes to check on our progress still skeptical it can be done.
Fly you fools.(another LOTR quote)

The Finished Product
